The only precondition is that you have a reasonably evenly sugar demand and that the concentration of the sugar syrup must not exceed 70 Brix. This type of plant is extremely suitable for beverage manufacturers. Cold crystal sugar is mixed with cold water, so that no vapours are generated that might lead to a closing of the dosing equipment for granulated sugar. Nonetheless, hot dissolving takes place within the system. Finally the hot sugar syrup is cooled to the desired syrup temperature by the water-sugar suspension in the countercurrent heat exchanger.
Sugar dissolved with this plant system will remain free from any recrystallisation for a very long time. The reason for this is the complete hot dissolving in continuous flow mode. No recrystallisation germs (e.g. undissolved sugar from tank walls, etc.) can pass through the system.
